Project Pinterest January

It's time for another episode of Project Pinterest! 

In this series I will let myself be inspired by Pinterest to scrap, cook a meal, bake a pie, do my hair, my nails, et cetera. As many of you, I could browse around Pinterest for days on end, but I rarely really use any of my repinned images. And that's a shame, because there's so much good stuff outthere!

This month I let myself be inspired by this layout by Lexi Bridges. I really loved how she used the lyrics from the song Measure in Love from the musical Rent on her layout:-)

And this is my finished layout:

I'm quite happy with how the layout turned out. Especially with the left side, the clock with the Instagram pics:-)

PL Week 26

Finally half way through PL 2012! Don't get me wrong I'm still happy I started this project and I'm determined to finish it, but man.. it's a lot of work! 

Had a lot of fun making this week, since it was the first week of our holiday to Spain last summer... So many good memories.. Makes me feel warm while there's snow outside;-)

My whole spread of week 26, in four parts:

On this first bit I got my Amy Tan on and did a tiny bit of stitching (top right card, the red asterisk;-))

Love these Barcelona pics.. It's such a great city! Love the cut I made with my silhouette (top right)

This one's a bit blurry.. Some beach fun on this one.. Right card in the middle.. Can't live without my Silhouette anymore;-) Oh and see the little sparks in the lights of the car (bottom right)?

Last one of the first album. The one on the bottom right is my favourite.. Both because of the pics and because the stamps and wood veneer are so fitting:-)

Sweet Like Sugar!

During the month of December I had some extra days off which meant: extra scrappy time! Yay!

I had a lot of fun playing with these Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic papers, some bakers twine from Garn&Mehr, stamps from Scrapperin and of course my Silhouette Cameo

This layout is about me and my sister in law when we were in France for vacation. After dinner with our guys we got a sweet surprise from them: cotton candy! I love cotton candy and love how the colors in the page represent the sweetness of it:-)

Creative Pay it Forward 2013

Don't you just love the opportunities the worldwideweb gives us?:-) I certainly do! The past few days I saw this project going round on facebook called 'Pay it Forward'. The first few people to respond to the message would receive a gift from that person during this year. The project was picked up on Instagram last sunday and a creative version of this project appeared. I first saw it on Sabrina´s account. That's my kind of project! So I decided to make a message to copy into my IG:

And soon this message was picked up by a lot of my contacts and by their contacts as well! How great is this!

I definately can't wait to surprise my list of people and I have already tons of ideas for this!

And just like that 2012 is over.. Here's my Photo a Day for December (by FatMumSlim) :-) 

And you know what's best? Photo a day continues into 2013. I've liked this idea from the moment I started in June and I've decided to continue in 2013 :-) It's still so inspiring and fun:-)

Happy happy mail :-)

When I got home from a few days abroad this week some happy mail was awaiting me:-)

My secret santa package from the 2Peas YS thread. My secret santa was Caro who sent me the cutest stamps, christmas papers and two cookbooks (love love love to cook - and eat). Thanks so much!

And secondly my Freckled Fawn package arrived:-) Got myself 5 new washi's, some cute wood veneers and some other bits and bobs:-)
