This is me! - Passport insert

With this 'page' I took part in the second challenge of Studio Calico's This is me class. The challenge was to add a page to your album that isn't the typical page protector. I added my old passport that expired last year.

Supplies: Cardboard, patterned paper (Studio Calico Sundrifter), vellum with gold dots (Dear Lizzy by American Crafts), cardstock (Bazzil Basics), Live sticker (We R Memorykeepers), brad (My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing)

This is me! - Customized Handbook

Last week I finished customizing my Handbook for Studio Calico's This is me class. I might customize the album some more, if I find some nice ribbon, but for now I'll just leave it like this.

Supplies: Craft Handbook (Studio Calico Yearbook line), paint (Amsterdam Acrylic Paint in Pewter #815)

This is me! - Intropage

Last week I told you something about Studio Calico's This is me class I'm taking part in. Right after the class was launched Lexi provided us with a challenge to get us going. Since I couldn't wait to get started I jumped right in and made the intropage of my album:

Supplies: kraft bag (Whisker Graphics), card (This is me class kit), washitape (This is me class kit), stamp (This is me class kit), ribbons (local craft store), wood veneers (Studio Calico), life is good piece (Studio Calico Sundrifter), journaling card (Studio Calico Sundrifter), Cardstock (Bazzill Basics), Embossing Powder (American Crafts)

This is me!

I'm taking part in Studio Calico's This is me class taught by Lexi Bridges, accompanied by loads of great contributors such as Jennifer Pebbles, Nicole Harper and Leena Loh. I really can't get over how awesome this class is and after months of Project Life I was ready to take on something new. This class is perfect for it!

What I really love about this class is that everyone is able to fill it in how they like. Some may make a mini album, while others go for regular layouts. Some may use it to document their current life, while others choose a life biography type of project.

I took the opportunity to document my twenties with this album. In these years a lot changes and very rapidly at that :-) I like to have an album to look back on and remember what it was like. Since I'm not yet 30 this will be a project I'll continue to work on. I hope you'll follow me on this journey!

And you know what's awesome about this class too? The amazing class kit!

To accompany this amazing stuff I chose several different products. I picked a Studio Calico Handbook, lots of stuff from the Studio Calico Sundrifter line, some Sew easy stuff from We R Memorykeepers, glitter tape from American Crafts, letter stickers from October Afternoon, several different Mr. Huey's colors and some more bits and pieces:

Tonight I started decorating my handbook:

Can't wait to show you guys a lot more as I'm making progress with this new project! Get back soon!

Have a great weekend!
