Kechmara

Usually I don't really participate in challenges. Not because I don't like them, but because my scrappy time is very limited, so deadlines don't really work for me. Two weeks ago I had a day off and took some time to scrap. Unfortunately I got stuck on the layout and didn't know how to continue. So I let the unfinished layout lie on my desk and every now and then I pushed the paper and pictures around a bit.. But I couldn't really get it to work.. Until I saw the Sunday Sketch at Studio Calico.. I knew immediately this was the solution to my problem :-) And I like how it turned out..

I mostly used papers from the Basic Grey Marrakech line and my Silhouette machine:-)

This layout is about me and my love during our trip to Marrakech in 2011. We went for a walk through the modern part of the city and had some delicious sweets at the café/restaurant Kechmara in the rue de la liberté. Gotta love macarons!

For more (detailed) pictures check out my gallery at Studio Calico :-)

Can't wait to hear what you think!

Love, Dee
